Inaugural Study Tour Strong Success

Partner Event – Greensite Stormwater Workshop

A ½ day Greensite Stormwater workshop is being held on July 11th at Speedway, IN. The focus of the workshop is how the Town of Speedway utilized rain gardens and bio swales to help address storm water issues.  These practices reduced the cost of the overall project and provide water quality benefits.  The event is being coordinated by Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation.  For an event flier click here.

ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative to Award 10 Scholarships to Fall Meeting

As part of ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI), up to ten (10) female Associate/YLG/Student members of ULI will be awarded scholarships to attend the 2013 Fall Meeting in Chicago from November 5-8. The scholarship will include complimentary registration and up to a $1,500 reimbursement of expenses related to hotel, airfare, local transport, meals, and Product Council receptions/dinners. ULI to implement new membership structure July 1

Effective July 1, 2013, ULI is implementing a new membership structure that simplifies membership categories and makes a clear connection between levels of engagement and member benefits.  The structural change will be accompanied by certain policy changes designed to enhance member value.  Among these: Members will be guaranteed a savings of at least 33% on all events. Young Leader events will be restricted to members only. The new structure is the result of two years analysis by a task force of ULI Trustees.
