RFP seeks to reuse Indianapolis industrial sites

The Indianapolis office of Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is issuing a Request for Proposals  aimed at “Linking Regional Economic Clusters with Targeted Urban Places: Developing an integrated approach to reusing former industrial sites in the Indianapolis Core.”  The proposals are due July 31, 2013.  Interested parties should contact Rachel McIntosh, LISC Sr. Program Officer, at rmcintosh@lisc.org or 317.454.8488. City of Indianapolis seeking projects for New Markets Tax Credits application

The City of Indianapolis is seeking potential projects to be included in its application for New Markets Tax Credits.  In order to develop the best possible application, they have asked ULI Indiana to help them identify the sponsors of potential projects. Projects must be located in Indianapolis-Marion County, have a minimum total project cost of $7.0 million, and meet other criteria as specified in the pre-application intake form. ULI’s 2013 Global Awards for Excellence

Twenty-seven projects have been selected as finalists for the ULI Global Awards for Excellence, widely recognized as the land use industry’s most prestigious recognition program. Read more about the finalists, which are located across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The award panel includes Jeff Kingsbury of Greenstreet, Ltd., who also serves at ULI Indiana’s Chair for Mission Advancement.
