Southside Mayors Draw Large Crowd on Northside

Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers and Franklin Mayor Joe McGuiness appeared at the ULI Breakfast Series on Thursday, June 26.  Each Mayor highlighted current projects and events in their communities. In Franklin, these include: – A new Aquatic Center (with positive cash flow!). – Downtown Revitalization, including improvements to the courthouse square (street lights, etc.) and façade improvements. – De-classificiation of State Road 44 by INDOT, so the City has more control over it (with many thanks to the Indianapolis MPO). – Several new downtown businesses. Indiana’s CityWay is Finalist in ULI Global Awards for Excellence

Nominate a project for the Monumental Awards

The Indy Chamber has opened nominations for the 2014 Monumental Affair Awards.  The Monumental Awards recognize individuals and businesses that contribute to excellence in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Construction, Real Estate Development, Neighborhood Revitalization, Engineering, Innovative Reuse, and Public Art throughout the Indy region.
