With $3.6 billion in investment currently taking place in downtown Indianapolis alone, Indiana’s metropolitan areas are getting noticed. During our April Breakfast Series, you’ll hear from a diverse blend of national owners and brokers representing a variety of real estate product types. Our panel will share perspectives on what makes central Indiana appealing as a market, provide insights on trends in peer cities, and discuss how those cities compare to Indianapolis.

Jim is responsible for co-leading JLL’s Capital Markets team in Chicago and for growing its investment sales and finance capabilities in the Midwest. With more than 30 years of experience in investment sales, mortgage financing and asset management, Jim is active in the National Associates of Industrial and Office Properties and the Urban Land Institute. He a master’s of real estate and urban affairs from Georgia State University and a bachelor in business administration in finance from University of Wisconsin Madison. Jim was the recipient of the Greater Food Depository 2007/2008 and 2011/2012 Investment Broker of the Year Award.
Asset Manager, Square Deal Investment Management, Inc.

Andy serves as an asset manager at Square Deal Investment Management, a family office that deploys assets in a variety of strategies including income-oriented real estate, real estate development, private equity acquisitions, and equity asset managers. SDIM is currently acquiring trophy central business district office assets in multiple markets across the country, and Andy serves on the due diligence team for the prospective acquisitions. He began his commercial real estate career in 2005 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma. Initially, Andy’s focus was specializing as an office leasing and investment broker. His attention then shifted to real estate asset management for private investors and public investors managing multiple property types, value-add projects, ground-up developments and day-to-day financial operations. Prior to joining SDIM, Andy served as real estate acquisitions manager at MidFirst Bank, asset manager for Midland Financial and director of asset services for a national brokerage firm.
George Tikijian III, CCIM
Senior Managing Director, Tikijian Associates – Multihousing Investment Advisors
While Tikijian Associates–an Indianapolis based broker and advisor to apartment owners, investors and managers–was formed in 2005, George has specialized in the sale of apartment communities since 1984. During the first 20 years of his career, George was a senior vice president and multi-housing specialist with CBRE. During his 33-year career, he has been involved in the sale of more than 360 apartment communities totaling in excess of 90,000 units with total consideration in excess of $3.3 billion. George serves on the Advisory Board of the Local Initiative Support Corporation and is a board member of the Indiana Apartment Association and Indiana University Kelley School Dean’s Council. He is a graduate of Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a degree in Finance.
Senior Vice President of Agency Leasing, Investor Services, JLL
Traci is responsible for a 2.6 million-square-foot, Class A office portfolio, including Parkwood Crossing and Woodland Corporate Park. A leader in her business unit, she has maintained one of the highest occupancy rates in the company for the past five years, and in 2014, was one of the top six leasing representatives in the company. Traci is a member of ULI Indiana and currently chairs the programming committee. In addition, she’s a member of NAIOP and received the organization’s Broker of the Year award in 2016. Traci was named among Indianapolis Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2015 and the Midwest Real Estate News’ Hall of Fame in 2013. Prior to joining JLL, Traci was vice president of leasing and development for Duke’s Realty’s Indianapolis Group, after serving in marketing roles for the St. Louis, Minneapolis and Indianapolis markets and moving to Indiana in 2001 as a leasing representative. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton.
