Thank you ULI members who attended our special ULI On Location, “Return on Involvement: Membership Presentation and Reception” May 30 at River North at Keystone. The event started in the “living room” area of River North at Keystone. Wes Podell of PK Partners talked about River North at Keystone and the Quarry at River North, ULI Indiana District Council Chair Kelli Lawrence provided a welcome, and ULI Indiana’s Director, Jennifer Milliken, presented about ULI and ULI Indiana and how members can take advantage of the organization. Afterwards, attendees walked over to Quarry at River North for a tour and networking reception.
Here are a few highlights from the presentation. View the PDF for more information and details.
Through June 30, new members get $50 off using the code DCMEM50. If you’re not a member, join today. If you are, please share with your friends and colleagues!
Local Opportunities for Involvement
If you’d like to get more involved in a committee for ULI Indiana, indicate your interest at navigator.uli.org or by contacting a committee member. There are a couple of exceptions:
- UrbanPlan and Nominations are not yet listed in Navigator under Indiana. (Videos about UrbanPlan: Public Officials Version, High School/University Version, Neighborhood Version)
- For the Young Leaders Group and Women’s Leadership Initiative, if you just want to be invited to events, you don’t need to do anything. However, if you are interested in helping lead these groups as part of a committee or future Co-Chair, or just want to learn more, let us know through Navigator or by contacting one of us.
Applications are accepted year-round, but terms begin July 1. Apply by Friday, June 15 to be invited to July meetings and begin planning for 2019.
Real Estate Trends 2019
Mark your calendar for ULI Indiana’s signature event, Real Estate Trends, on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Indiana State Museum. We are moving Trends from November to the first Thursday after Martin Luther King Day. This requires a slight shift in our Breakfast Series schedule for 2019. Watch for more details later this summer!
