Through Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs), ULI Indiana assists communities by leveraging our members’ expertise to address challenging land use and real estate issues.
On July 23-24, a TAP visited the Far Eastside neighborhood to outline development opportunities, recommend land uses, and identify potential obstacles, priorities, and other related issues.
This ULI Indiana TAP was made possible through support from the City of Indianapolis, the Glick Foundation, the Finish Line Youth Foundation, and the Community Alliance of the Far Eastside.
Special thanks to all of our partners, and thank you to our panelists for sharing their time and insights: Keith Broadnax, Senior Vice President, Business Development, Cinnaire; Kris Butler-Farrar, Chief Operating Office, Old Town Companies; Catherine Esselman, Senior Project Manager, Indy Chamber; Pete Fritz, Healthy Communities Planner, Indiana State Department of Health; Jen Higginbotham, Principal Planner, Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization; and Samantha Spergel, Director of Real Estate Production, Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority.
Also, special thanks to Lisa Marie Gala, visiting FUSE Corps Executive Fellow; ULI Indiana TAP chair Deb Kunce, Managing Principal, CORE Planning Strategies; Andrea Wesson, Project Coordinator and intern, CORE Planning Strategies; and ULI Indiana TAP committee members Aletha Dunston, Executive Director of the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority; and Lourenzo Giple, NCARB, Architectural Designer/Project Manager, Rottmann Collier Architects.
