With input from the Urban Land Institute headquarters, ULI Indiana is following well-considered safety protocols for any in-person events. Guidance is provided for volunteers and staff planning events as well as for event participants.
Guidance for Volunteers and Staff Planning Events
Follow the latest state and local guidelines, at a minimum.
Limit events to small groups. ULI Indiana is currently planning to limit groups to 25 people or less (but may serve two or more groups back-to-back). Advance registration may be required in order to enforce attendance maximums.
Prioritize outdoor events when possible. Indoor events should be limited to large, airy spaces. Tours where people are moving frequently are preferred over stationary events where people remain in one place for more than a few minutes.
Confirm that the venue can accommodate social distancing requirements and what specific COVID-19 related practices have been put in place.
Guidance for Event Participants
Remember to bring a mask/face covering to wear while indoors. Mask coverings should be used during the entire event, except for when actively drinking or eating.
Plan to arrive at events in time to stay within your pre-designated group.
Maintain 6 feet distance with person-to-person contact and respect and follow all social distancing signage in the building.
Name-tags will be disposable and will not include display ribbons at this time.
If you are having symptoms of illness or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, please do not attend.
Your registration reflects acceptance of the waiver and release terms included on the event webpage.
ULI Indiana leadership is hopeful that by following these guidelines, we can begin in some modest way to reconnect with one another in-person as well as online. We are excited to see the great new projects being developed by our members and what they will contribute to Indiana as a great place to live and great place to invest.
