In a notice to District Council Senior Staff dated August 13, the Urban Land Institute has affirmed that “local District Council member leaders and staff are best positioned to make decisions about COVID protocols for ULI local events.”

The following summarizes ULI Indiana’s current policies and practices:

• Follow the latest state and local guidelines, at a minimum.
• Limit events to smaller groups. Our current in-person events are generally less than 50 people, with smaller tour groups.
• We are prioritizing tours so people will be moving frequently versus stationary events where people remain in one place for a long period of time. Outdoor events are preferred when possible. Indoor events should be limited to large, airy spaces.
• Masks are welcome.
• Name-tags will be disposable and will not include display ribbons at this time.
• If you are having symptoms of illness or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, please do not attend.
• Your registration reflects acceptance of the waiver and release terms included in your event confirmation email.

ULI Indiana leadership is hopeful that by following these guidelines, we can continue to connect with one another in-person, despite rising case numbers.
